Saturday December 27,2008 weight loss update

Well this week i ended up doing things a little different due to Christmas and my finger.

One thing I will have to say with everything different going on this week it didn't end up being a successful weight loss week. I actually gained 4.6 pounds. I now weigh 290.8 pounds. There are plenty or reasons why I feel this happened.

1) Diet wise over all I think was OK however I am used to having breakfast and I really didn't eat much breakfast all last week.

2) I drank more pop than i normally do. I also didn't drink as much water as i normally do.

3) Exercising I know i didn't work out as hard as I have been in the past. When the gym was closed because of Christmas I could have done some exercises at home but at that time i didn't think about it.

4) when i was weighing in at weight watchers i am not sure if i had my car keys in my pocket or not. But when i was leaving weight watchers I couldn't find them. When i did find them they were in my shirt pocket. I almost wanted to ask them if i could do a redo and weigh again. But i decided not to. Who knows how much difference that would have made anyways.

I was really disappointed in myself that i had gained that much in one week. But then i had to sit back and realize how much better i feel and am today compared to Back in May. Last week also made me realize how important it is for me to get the exercise. I miss it and my body is to used to having it.

Now is the time to be thinking what will your New Years resolution be this year? Mine will be A) staying focused on losing weight. B) continue staying away from gambling. It has been 2 months now. If you focus one day at a time you can get through anything I am learning.

For succeeding in everything that i have been able to do these last 4 months I ended up rewarding myself with a pedicure last Friday. I ended up getting my toes painted every other one green and red. They look really neat even though not that many people get to see them since it is winter time. But it was still fun.

Hope you all have a Happy New Years Eve.
