I realize it has been forever since I last updated my blog. Since my last post i have been continuing on my journey without to much weight loss progress. But I know I have gained strength though.
I have been fighting a heel spur and plantar fascias the last 3 months. I tried doing exercises for a month. It ended up not giving me much relief. so I went back to the Dr. this time I got the nice steroid shot in my heel and then I was given the boot to wear. Since that I have gotten a lot of relief. I am able to go about my daily routine without wearing the boot and no pain. with the exception to the weekends. when working at Scheels since I walk around so much I have to wear the boot half way through my shifts.
I am still involved in my boot camp (fit camp) 4 days a week, 3 weeks straight, then a week to recover. I am loving it more and more. especially since we switched from the boot camp trainers gym to a gymnastic place. I do miss working out at their gym, However working out at the gymnastic place has been very beneficial considering with my current healing heel issue. since the floor is the spring type.
I have also learned through this process how important good nutrition and exercising is in your daily routine. You maybe an exercising freak but without good or great nutritional habit's it is hard to get the best possible results you are aiming for in the end.
With that in mind I have been approached a couple of times if I want to try the body by vi challenge. Which is where you take 2 shakes a day and have nutritional snacks throughout the day and then have a natural healthy meal. I have been thinking about for several months now. So right before Thanksgiving I thought what do I have to lose. So I decided to start the challenge. December 1,2010 was my first day of the challenge. When I weighed Wednesday December 8,2010. I ended up losing 9 pounds.
If you are interested in joining me with this challenge let me know and I can get you more information.
